1. On 3 August 2006 poloff delivered reftel demarche on
space launch vehicle cooperation between ROK and Ukraine to
Youn Jong-Kwon, First Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and Trade's (MOFAT) Non-Proliferation and Disarmament
Division. Youn accepted and understood the request but did
not have any information on the space launch vehicle
cooperation. Youn advised that he would consult with the
Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) and would provide
an answer as soon as possible.
