(U) On August 25 Poloff delivered reftel points to
Arti Hilpus, MFA Director for Security and Arms
Control. In addition to the $41,000 already donated,
Hilpus said that the GOE will contribute an additional
$25,550 in support of the World Food Program at the
Donors Conference in Stockholm. Hilpus also mentioned
that the GOE intends to participate in the future
reconstruction process in Lebanon, although no
specific plans have been decided.
