(SBU) Poloff presented reftel note and points to Eli Ben-Tur,
the director of the MFA's International Organizations Office,
on August 24. Ben-Tur replied that the GOI has not yet
decided on its voting slate for the International Law
Commission, but emphasized that Israel will support Michael
Matheson. He added that the USG should "rest assured" that
Israel will vote for the U.S. candidate.
