1. On September 15, Pol/Econ Officer delivered reftel
demarche to Luis Cabao, Director for Asian and Oceanic
Affairs at the MFA, and Angelo Seia Neves, Director General
for European Affairs and International Relations at the
Ministry of Finance. Portugal fully supports the measures
outlined in UNSCR 1695 and currently has no record of North
Korea conducting such activities in Portugal. The MFA will
convey points to Portugal,s Embassy in Phnom Penh which
covers Seoul and to other government entities as appropriate.
The MoF will distribute information to Portuguese financial
and banking institutions.
