the GOI would be interested in actively participating in, and
contributing to, all three of the planned Iraq Compact
meetings.

2. Post learned from the MFA's Iraq Task Force that MFA U/S
for
North America, Vittorio Craxi, will lead the Italian
delegation
to the Abu Dhabi Compact Meeting.
