1. (SBU) Per reftel, Poloff delivered talking points and
background paper to Manuel Fernandez Salorio, Minister in the
Division of International Organizations in Argentina's
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Fernandez stated that he would
coordinate with his colleagues in the Division of Human
Rights to analyze and determine how the GOA will vote on
resolutions 60/36, 60/37, and 60/104. He indicated that the
Argentine government generally tries to seek a balanced
perspective on resolutions related to the Middle East.
