1. We presented to the Indonesian Department of Foreign
Affairs (DEPLU) reftel information about the U.S.-PIF special
session and agenda and Assistant Secretary Hill's
availability for meetings with heads of governments on the
margins of the Pacific islands Forum and Post-Forum Dialogue.
Contacts in the DEPLU Directorate for Asia, Pacific and
Africa Inter-Regional Cooperation said the particulars of the
Indonesian representation at the event had not been
finalized. Per reftel instructions, we asked them to work
through the U.S. Embassy in Fiji to arrange any meetings.
