1. Embassy delivered reftel request to the Agricultural Department
on October 26 with a courtesy copy to the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and Trade.
2. On November 11, Embassy received response from Mrs. Hajah Aidah
Mohd Hanifah of the Agriculture Department informing us that they
are not able to send any participants to attend the APEC Farmer
Agricultural Biotechnology Outreach Program on Strengthening the
Competitiveness of Small Farmers in Manila, Philippines on December
4-7.
