1. The Ethiopian Intellectual Property Office nominates two
candidates for participation in USPTO's February 2007 Global
Intellectual Property Academy for Advanced Patent Law and
Procedure:

-- Temesgen Maru, Patent Search and Examination Expert, and
-- Mekonnen Haile Woldemariam, Patent Administration Expert.

2. The Ethiopian Intellectual Property Office requests
financial assistance for travel, per diem and lodging
expenses.

3. Candidate names and CVs have also been emailed to USPTO's
