Econ Counselor delivered reftel demarche on December 21 to
senior officials in the North American and International
Organizations departments of the RTG MFA. They noted that
the Thai UN delegation in New York had already been
approached by the U.S. regarding this issue. The officials
noted the U.S. concerns, but did not provide any indication
of the RTG position or likely vote.
