1. (SBU) Susan Mkapa, Director for Legal Services at the
Ministry of Finance, confirmed December 7 that Tanzania does
not maintain its own list of terrorist entities. Mkapa said
that the Government of Tanzania (GOT) and the Bank of
Tanzania (BOT) depend on information from the U.S. Government
to keep its list of terrorist entities updated.
