1. This is an action request - see paragraph 2.

2. In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements,
this cable forwards the names and biodata of four Afghan national
security officials who will participate in an Afghanistan-Pakistan
confidence-building workshop at the Marshall Center from September
16-28, 2007. Post possesses no derogatory information on these
individuals. Post requests Department's review of these candidates
and response by August 16, 2007.
