(SBU) On July 2, poloff conveyed reftel information sheet
regarding a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA)-hosted
August 26-29 conference in Germany that will discuss the
establishment of a web-based information portal to Kim
Jae-woo, MOFAT's Deputy Director of the Nonproliferation and
Disarmament Division. Poloff noted that DTRA in June had
announced its intent to establish the information portal at
the third meeting of the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear
Terrorism, and was now listing an August 1 registration
deadline for the conference. Kim expressed appreciation for
the notification and undertook to pass the conference
information to relevant authorities.
