Embassy Tokyo Political Officer delivered reftel demarche
July 26 and followed up by telephone July 27 with MOFA
Multilateral Cultural Cooperation Division Principal Deputy
Director Izumi Seki. Seki said that MOFA had already
received a parallel demarche from the Israeli Embassy and was
in the process of coordinating a response between the
relevant bureaus. MOFA should be able to respond by next
