(U) In response to reftel cables, Turkey held elections on
July 22, 2007 and has not yet formed a new government Post
will advise as soon as possible regarding Turkish high level
attendance at the 62nd UNGA and corresponding spouses' lunch
with Mrs. Bush. We anticipate Turkey's head of delegation
will be interested in a meeting on the margins with the
Secretary.
