1. (SBU) PolOff delivered reftel points to Mariusz Lewicki,
MFA Head of the Economic and Social Division of the UN
Department, to seek support for Steve Carr,s candidacy to
the International Red Cross and Red Crescent,s Standing
Committee. Lewicki responded that the MFA would review the
information and qualifications of Steve Carr and respond to
the Embassy before the end of August.
