1. (U) On September 13 the Embassy received diplomatic note
07-2862 dated September 11 from the Department of Foreign
Affairs on behalf of President Arroyo accepting the
Secretary's invitation to the September 28 Women Leaders'

SIPDIS
Working Group meeting in New York. Information requested in
reftel is provided in para 2, and the text of the note is in
para 3. Additional information requested in the reftel will
be transmitted via email to S/WE staff.

2. (U) Title: "Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal Arroyo,
President of the Republic of the Philippines." Embassy
Manila's Protocol Office reports no dietary restrictions. No
translation assistance will be needed. A Philippine Embassy
point of contact will be provided.

The Department of Foreign Affairs presents its compliments to
the Embassy of the United States of America and has the honor
to inform the latter that H.E. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has
accepted the invitation of the U.S. Secretary of State
Condoleezza Rice to the Third Meeting of the Women Leaders'
Working Group, on 28 September 2007 in Waldorf Astoria Hotel
in New York.

The Department of Foreign Affairs avails itself of this
opportunity to convey to the Embassy of the United States of
American the assurances of its highest consideration.
