NATIONAL PROGRAMS OF ALBANIA, CROATIA, MACEDONIA

1. (U) USNATO has transmitted Albania's, Croatia's, and
Macedonia's Annual National Programs (ANPs) for 2007-2008 to
the Department, DOD, Tirana, Zagreb, and Skopje (REFS). The
Senior Political Committee Reinforced with Defense Experts
(SPC(R)) will take up the ANPs on September 18 (Croatia),
September 20 (Macedonia), and September 25 (Albania).

2. (U) USNATO requests detailed guidance on any
clarifications, additions, or changes to the ANPs at least
one day in advance of each SPC(R), containing points to share
with Allies and the three MAP nations to help the aspirants
prepare as fully as possible to meet the performance goals
necessary to receive invitations to join the Alliance at
NATO's April 2008 Bucharest Summit.
