On 24 October, Post received a diplomatic note from the
Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs dated 23 October
informing the Post that Luxembourg would support the U.S.'
candidacy for the UNESCO Intergovernmental Council of the
Internaional Hydrology Program during the UNESCO General
Conference to be held 25 October.
