1. We relayed reftel demarche to Assistant Secretary Rey A.
Carandang, Office of American Affairs, Department of Foreign
Affairs, in a letter dated October 9, 2007. In an interim response
received on October 15, Carandang's office said the letter has been
forwarded to the office of the Philippine Secretary of Foreign
Affairs and that it would convey the composition of the Philippine
delegation before the end of this month.
