1. (U) Sensitive but Unclassified/NOT for internet
distribution.

2. (SBU) On October 29, post delivered reftel points to
Mieczyslaw Kuzinski and Marian Siemakowicz of the Security
Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA),
and to Elzbieta Frankow-Jaskiewicz of the Department of
Financial Information of the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
While appreciative of the information, neither the MFA nor
the MoF had any substantive reaction to the Iranian
Designations or FATF Guidance.

3. (SBU) The MFA and MoF both confirmed that Poland
implements designations according to the EU and UN sanction
lists. Both ministries said that Poland will continue to be
supportive of the U.S. designations when/if they are
submitted to the UN Sanctions Committee.
