1. (SBU) PolOff delivered reftel demarche to Mr. Kodjo Menan,
Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on

November 7, 2007. Menan replied that the GOT does not support
terrorism and if there is an organization that supports
terrorism, the government will not collaborate with it. He
added that the GOT will align itself with the position of the
United Nations, and while the government does have a
relationship with Iran, there is not a high level of contact.
