1. Econoff shared on October 31 reftel points concerning
FATF's public statement and guidance on Iran with Dutch
officials Huib Mijnarends and Wendela Haringhuizen, both
Senior Policy Officers in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs'
Terrorism and New Threats Unit, and Anne-Chris Visser, Senior
Advisor in the Ministry of Finance's (MOF) Integrity Division.

2. Visser said the MOF had circulated FATF's guidance to the
Dutch financial supervisors (Netherlands Central Bank and
Authority for Financial Markets) and the Dutch Banker's
Association directly following the October 10-12 FATF
plenary. Visser added that the MOF would discuss Iran's
impact on the international financial system with the
Banker's Association the week of November 19. Post will
follow up and report on any substantive information received
or actions taken.
