1. This is an action request; please see paragraph 2.

2. In order to comply with Leahy vetting requirements, this cable
forwards the name and biodata of 1 Afghan National Police (ANP)
field grade officer selected for a position in the Communications
Department. Post has made a good faith effort to ensure this
individual actually only has one name. Post requests the
Department's expedited vetting and response at the earliest possible
date.
