SUBJECT: LEAHY VETTING REQUEST: STUDENTS TO ATTEND THE
SERGEANT-MAJOR ACADEMY IN THE UNITED STATES

1. This is an action request - see paragraph 2.

2. In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements,
this cable forwards the names of two Afghan nationals selected to
attend the Sergeant-Major Academy in the United States. Post
possesses no derogatory information on these individuals. Post
requests Department's review of these candidates by January 5,
2007.
