1. (U) PolOff delivered reftel demarche on December 7 to
Alice Kimpembe Bamba, Minister Plenipotentiary in the
International Organizations Office of the Congolese Ministry
of Foreign Affairs.

2. (U) Kimpembe said that the DRC is in favor of peace in the
Middle East and would consider our request in light of the
fact that the DRC has abstained on these resolutions in the
past.
