1. This is an Action Request. See paragraphs 2-4.

2. The Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls
Compliance (PM/DTCC) requests Post's assistance in conducting
a post-shipment end-use check on license number 05-050018734
for the export of defense articles to Kenya. Post is
requested to complete this Blue Lantern within 45 days. Lack
of response to a Blue Lantern inquiry will affect pending and
future licenses involving parties to this license.

3. Reason for request: To verify the bona fides of this
transaction with the end-user.

4. Action Request: Department requests that Post make
inquiries to confirm that the Kenya Ministry of State for
Defence received the listed United States Munitions List
(USML) articles, and that they are being used for the purpose
stated on the license.
