PolOff delivered the dipnote and reftel points to Grzegorz
Kozuba of the MFA,s UN Department on December 7. Kozuba
noted that Poland also received the information from its UN
Mission in NY, and had made the decision to support the U.S.
candidate, Pierre-Richard Prosper, for the United Nations
Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. He
also stated that the MFA,s diplomatic note officially
confirming Poland,s support for Mr. Prosper will be sent to
Embassy Warsaw next week. Once received, Post will pouch the
original diplomatic note to Washington.
