1. (U) The following are answers to questions from Reftel regarding
the FY07 Ambassador's Special Self Help program in Nigeria:

--Approximately 354,032 people (184,097 women, 169,935 men) have
benefited from SSH during this period (October 1, 2006 to September
30, 2007)

--Approximately 282,600 people (146,952 women, 135,952 men) have
benefited from access to improved drinking water

--Approximately 1600 (900 women, 700 men) have benefited from access
to improved sanitation
