1. (SBU) Serbia's Ministry for Foreign Affairs confirmed on
April 14 that the Government of Serbia will fully implement the
travel bans on designated Iranian proliferators, as authorized
by UNSCRs 1737, 1747, and 1803. End Summary.

2. (SBU) Serbia will "cooperate and fulfill its obligations"
under UNSCR 1803 and will implement the travel bans for the
designated Iranian proliferators, the MFA's Section Head for
Iran, Vasilije Petkovic told poloff on April 14, in response to
reftel. Petkovic said the MFA would cooperate with both the
Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Interior to make certain
that the travel ban was enforced. He said this was the same
process Serbia had used to enforce the previous resolutions
UNSCR 1737 and 1747.

3. (SBU) Petkovic was aware of the new UN Resolution and
understood the importance for Serbia to fulfill its obligations
to enact such a travel ban. Serbia appears willing to fulfill
its international obligations and to cooperate on issues of
mutual concern regarding Iran. End Comment.
