1. (SBU) EconOff delivered reftel demarche to GDRC Ministry of
Economy and Trade Chief of Staff Bavon N'Sa Mputu. EconOff urged
N'Sa Mputu to support one of the five preferred candidates for
Director General, a message he promised to communicate to the DRC
Representative in Geneva. N'Sa Mputu did not have any ideas about
how the polling would play out, but promised to forward any related
response from their Geneva mission.
