SUBJECT: NICARAGUA: HUMAN RIGHTS INDIVIDUAL VETTING REQUEST FOR U.S.-SPONSORED TRAINING: CENTERS FOR DRUG INFORMATION (CDI) TRAINING CONFERENCE IN MEXICO CITY

1. We request the Department's assistance in screening the
following individuals, who have been nominated for USG-funded
training, pursuant to the Leahy Act and the Foreign
Assistance Act.

2. The following individuals will attend the Centers For
Drug Information (CDI) Training Conference in Mexico City
from June 17-20, 2008. The names are listed with the surname
first:

-- Montiel, Urania del Carmen; DOB 11 Sep 1962
-- Saravia Lara, Edgard Javier; DOB 25 Feb 1974
