1. Per ref B, Greece intends to send its ambassador in Abu
Dhabi to the Friends of Iraq Conference. On June 6,
DepPolCouns informed MFA A6 Directorate for Middle East
Affairs deputy head Giorgos Ayfantis that the conference
organizers had not yet received a registration from the Greek
participant, per ref A. Ayfantis said he believed the Greek
ambassador in Abu Dhabi had already registered but promised
to get in touch with him immediately to confirm.
