Post conducted inquiries requested reftel, regarding F-5
spare parts ordered in 2007 by the European Aeronautic
Defense and Space (EADS)-CASA, the global leader in
aerospace, defense, and related services.

Juan-Manual Fernandez, Senior Manager of Procurement,
confirmed that EADS-CASA Military Aircraft, Spain Aeronautics
Division, Spanish Air Force, Spanish Ministry of Defense, did
indeed place the order for spare lens and washer parts for
the repair and maintenance of F-5 Aircraft from Aero
Precision Industries. All but one shipment was reported
received in May 2008. The remaining quantity of 20 lenses
(P/N:30-0194-4) was received July 16, according to Fernandez,
who confirmed July 17 that EADS had received the final
delivery of the components from Aero Precision Industries and
was able to verify through commodity number that in fact they
had those components within their inventory.

Fernandez assured Post his division was well aware of the
prohibition on unauthorized re-export or retransfer of the
aforementioned USML items. He offered to cooperate fully in
future and provided contact information for other
interlocutors within the Spanish Air Force's logistics and
procurement divisions.
