1. On August 11, upon August 8 receipt of final version of
supporting documents from the National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Post delivered the
Clearance Request for the NOAA Ronald H. Brown Research
vessel and supporting materials to the Colombian Ministry of
External Relations (MRE) via diplomatic note. Post has been
in contact with the MRE during the period while NOAA prepared
supporting materials for the Clearance Request and the MRE
unofficially advised Post that it will require additional
supporting documents including, but not necessarily limited
to, a notarized Navigation Permit and Ship Registration
(English and Spanish translation). Post understands that
NOAA will prepare such additional supporting documents and
air courier them to Post so that they may be forwarded to the
MRE.
