1. Members of the Embassy Rabat and Consulate General Casablanca
joint Visas Viper Committee met September 8, 2008. The meeting was
chaired by DCM, with CG, RAO, LEGATT, CONS, DHS, DAO, RSO, POL, ECON
and PD in attendance.

2. An additional six names were provided for the network that
recruits volunteers on behalf of Al Qaeda in Iraq and Algeria (see
reftel). All are Moroccan nationals.

AYYAD, Abdelali, born 1985 in Douar Asafourat, Chefchaouen.

EL BOUZRADI, Bouchta, born 1987 in Chefchaouen.

EL HADDADI, Omar, born 1986 in Taounate.

FARAH, Jamal, born 1976 in Nador.

JAMII, Rachid, born 1990 in Ammouzer.

SRHIRI, Nasreddin, born 15-APR-1974 in Casablanca.

3. The following 15 individuals were detained by Moroccan
authorities in July or August of 2008 in connection with the
disruption of an alleged terrorist cell referred to by the Moroccan
authorities as Fath al-Andalus. All are Moroccan nationals.

AFOULLOUS, Mohamed, born 1986.

AIT ABD, Lahcen, born 10-FEB-1981 in Agadir. Holder of expired

BEN LAMARA, Abdelmoula, born 1976. Holder of expired passport
