1. (U) This cable is NIACT due to the impending UN Security Council
vote on September 27.

2. (SBU) On September 27, PolOff delivered reftel demarche to Regis
Bakyono, Acting Director of International Organizations at the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Bakyono expressed Burkina Faso's
willingness to work with the U.S. for the promotion of our two
countries' common goals and said he would immediately transfer the
points presented in reftel to his superiors so they could give
instructions to the GOBF Permanent Mission in New York.
