1. (SBU) On September 18,2008 Post delivered reftel demarche
to the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), United
Nations Department's Deputy Director David Cervenka. On
September 22, the Ministry informed us that the Czech
Delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Jan Kohout will
attend the Community of Democracies Meeting on September 26
on the margins of UNGA. Cervenka told EconOff that the
delegation took the non-paper demarche on U.S. Priorities
with them and was already en route to New York. According to
the Ministry, the Czechs are generally supportive of the
stated U.S. Priorities but that the details should best be
discussed with the Czech delegation in New York.
