(U) Poloff delivered reftel demarche to Sarmite Danne, the MFA's
First Secretary - International Organizations. Danne stated that
that UNAIDS executive Director will be elected by the members of
Program Coordination Board of UNAIDS. Because Latvia is not a
member of the Board, they will not take part in the elections.
