Econoff delivered the information about the EPG meeting
scheduled for November 13-14 to Julio Bravo, Counselor for
Special Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Relations. Bravo
explained that Chile will be unable to send a representative
from the MFA in Santiago, but he would pass the information
along to the Chilean Embassy in Washington. He said that
perhaps someone from the Chilean Embassy in Washington could
attend. Post will advise the Department of any new
information about Chile's participation.
