CELEBRATION PLANS

MFA Security and Non-proliferation Department Head Vilmos
Hamikus told PolOff October 9 that Hungary, the Czech
Republic and Poland are jointly discussing plans to celebrate
the tenth anniversary of their NATO membership. Hamikus
stated that they would have a prelude event in each of the
three capitals with a major celebration in Brussels on March
10. He commented that the celebration would provide an
opportunity to underscore to their citizens what the three
countries have achieved during the ten years as NATO members.
