1. This is an Action Request. See paragraphs 2-4.

2. The Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls
Compliance (PM/DTCC) requests Embassy's assistance in
conducting a post-shipment check on license 050109596 for the
export of accelerometers to the Czech Republic. Embassy is
requested to complete this Blue Lantern check within 45 days.
Lack of response to a Blue Lantern check will affect pending
and future licenses involving parties to this license.

3. Reason for request: Sensitive technology, accelerometers.

4. ACTION: Embassy is requested to make inquiries with
appropriate Aero Vodochody officials to determine if it
received the accelerometers and that the articles are being
used on the L-159 Light Combat Aircraft. Export data
indicates the items exited the U.S. on August 21, 2008. Aero
POC is David Jirman, Manager, TEL: 420-255-76-3149, reference
Purchase Order # 200705525/OZVO dated November 20, 2007. The
following questions are offered as suggested guidance with
