1. (SBU) On October 2, Polmiloff delivered the text of UNSCR
1835 and reftel non-paper outlining Chapter VII sanctions on
Iran to date to the MFA's Director for Non-Proliferation Haim
Waxman, Director for Arms Control Rodica Radian-Gordon, and
Director for Export Control Roey Gilad. Polmiloff noted the
non-paper was being delivered in capitals worldwide; Gilad
appreciated both the non-paper and U.S. efforts to reinforce
robust implementation of the new resolution.
