The Honourable Barack Obama
President-elect of the United States of America

Your Excellency,

On behalf of the Government of the Macao Special
Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, I
wish to extend our warmest congratulations on your assumption
as the President-elect of the United States of America.

I am confident that your country will make greater
progress under your leadership. I would also like to take
this opportunity to wish you all the best in the years ahead
as well as good achievements in you new post.

May the friendly relations and cooperation between the
Macao Special Administrative Region and the United States of
America develop continuously.
