1. (SBU) On December 18, 2008, Econoffs and Finatt conveyed
reftel to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Department
of External Security Affairs, Mr. Wu Shifan, as it relates to
bilateral counterterrorism efforts. We expressed his
appreciation and indicated he would pass the information on
to the appropriate individuals for action.
