1. Poloff coordinated with local Dutch embassy DCM Karin
Moessenlechner to deliver the reftel announcement to
appropriate Swiss government colleagues regarding the Fifth
Plenary Meeting of the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear
Terrorism (GICNT), which will be hosted by the Netherlands in
June 2009. After coordinating with the relevant local
Russian embassy counterpart, Moessenlechner contacted
Riccarda Torriani, acting GICNT POC in the Arms Control and
Disarmament Section of the Swiss Federal Department of
Foreign Affairs (EDA), to deliver the reftel announcement on
behalf of the USG, GON, and GOR.
