I believe that personal contacts between members of both
institutions will be of great help in different issues that interest
us and will also help start new future projects in this new stage
that begins.

In counting on your valuable help for this, I look forward to
receiving any suggestions to follow-up on this new impulse on behalf
of our bilateral relations.

With the assurances of my highest consideration.

Chairman,
U.S.-Argentina Friendship Caucus,

3. (SBU) Senator Juan Carlos Romero's message tracks with what we
hear from many Argentine legislators who want to strengthen
relations with the U.S. legislative branch in light of the change of
administration in Washington.
