1. Mission received a verbal response on September 23 from the
Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources that the Government of
Nigeria will be represented by Dr. Sayyadi Abba Ruma, the Minister
of Agriculture and Water Resources, at the UNGA food security event
on September 26. Ruma will be accompanied by Mr. Otaki Oyigbenu,
Permanent Secretary of Agriculture and Water Resources.

2. This cable has been coordinated with Consulate Lagos.
