Per reftel, Dep Pol/C contacted Roy Soemirat of the
Department of Foreign Affairs Directorate for International
Security and Disarmament to request that the GOI select a
Sherpa to attend the November 2009 and February 2010 Nuclear
Security Summit preparatory meetings. Soemirat said
Indonesia had not yet selected a Sherpa. He noted
Indonesia's commitment to the goals of the upcoming summit
and said he would pass the non-paper message on the Vienna
Kickoff Meeting to the Indonesian delegation at the
International Atomic Energy Agency General Conference. The
delegation is led by Vice Foreign Minister Triyono Wibowo.
