MEETING AMONG CTBT SUPPORTERS

(SBU) On September 23rd, Poloff passed the reftel objectives,
including the U.S. invitation for Morocco to participate in
an informal meeting with Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban
Treaty (CTBT) supporters on the margins of the Article XIV
Conference, to Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)
Head of Security and Disarmament Office Bouchaib Eloumni.
Eloumni accepted the invitation on behalf of the Government
of Morocco (GOM), adding that either MFA Secretary General
Amrani or MFA Chief of Staff Nasser Bourita would likely
represent the GOM at the meeting.
